The Namma Parking Festival of Propositions is a joint initiative between the (our) Parking Magazine and Blr Design Week, the latter of whom will be hosting the same in their city wide program, being held through November and December this year.
This festival is an opportunity for residents of Bangalore to reimagine what parking bays could look like and function as, on three streets of Banaglore’s Central Business District. These three streets are MG Road, Church Street and Brigade Road, all areas with high footfall and much traffic throughout the day.
2 selected winners of this festival will receive a budget of Rs. 35000 each, to incorporate their respective designs at the site of intervention. The Namma Parking Festival of Propositions team will work with each of these selected participants to realise their respective projects while also working to ensure that all necessary permissions be acquired for the incorporation of each selected design.

2 - 30 Nov: Taking registrations on this form
30 Nov: Final Submissions of all proposals and presentations on this form by 11:59pm
1 Dec: Top 30 selected designs will be announced to proceed into round 2
Phase 2: Present
3 Dec: Presentation day where each submission will have 5 minutes to present and explain their respective proposed designs
4 Dec: Selected winners will be announced
Phase 3: Execute
4 - 14 Dec: Selected winners will incorporate their designs*
14 - 24 Dec: Incorporated designs will be on view and usable at their respective sites*
